You may have some spelling or grammatical errors that could affect the employer's decision on whether or not to offer you a job.Do make sure that you use a high quality font size. Try not to use a serif typeface, which is common for a lot of companies. Try using a more condensed font. Keep the content of the resume to around one to three lines, depending on the length of the job description.Do remember that you are not limited to the size of the font. There are some websites that will allow you to add a small 'h' at the beginning or end of your resume. They can either be located above or below the job description. Using this technique will help people who are viewing your resume through the Internet to be able to easily read the content without actually looking at your resume. When you submit your resume, be sure to check the box to allo w them to view it on their website.Do keep your resume organized as well. Make sure that you have all of your contact information right where it should be. Make sure that you have a very brief description of the position that you are applying for along with a cover letter and your resume.Do be prepared for rejection. There will be times when you won't get a call back. This doesn't mean that you should give up! Keep doing what you were doing before as well as following the advice above in order to increase your chances of being successful at this job search.
